My favorite place...
I absolutely love this place! The service is always wonderful, and the food is delicious. I've introduced several people to this restaurant and they all loved it. In warmer weather they do have outdoor seating, and in the colder months a cozy little fireplace. It's a relatively small place, but I've never waited longer than 20 mins for a table even with no reservations on a Friday or Saturday night. You can expect decent sized portions for the price. My favorite is the Chicken, Broccoli and Cheddar Cheese Savory Crepe. YUM! Dinner for two (with drinks, an appetizer, 2 entrees and 2 desserts) usually runs about 80 dollars. Definitely try it!

Best Creperie this side of the Pond
I just tried Creperie Beau Monde for the first time this week and my what a treat it was! I tried one of their soups of the day and then had a banana, nutella and hazelnut crepe to finish it off. My friend had a savory crepe with mushrooms, almonds and swiss cheese. It was ALL delicious! The atmosphere can't be beat. It's has an elegant charm, but is still cozy. I can't wait to go back again and again and again!

poor service
I recently had an bad experience at L'Etage. While watching a Martha Graham Cracker performance, the waitress spilled an entire drink on my boyfriend. So, I'm an adult, and I understand that these things happen, and upon receiving our bill, the waitress mentioned that she removed 4 drinks which is great and much appreciated. However, much to our surprise, upon receiving the bill, we noticed that we were still overcharged by two drinks. When we pointed this fact out to the waitress, she deferred to her manager who became quite argumentative. Then, the owner came over, and made the statement "I will take one round of drinks off, but if you say another word, you'll never come back here." I'm not a big fan of confrontation, and I realize that these sort of disputes happen from time to time. But the attitude of the owner was completely out of line.

Yummy!
It took them a couple of minutes to sit us, but it was well worth it! People are nice and the crepes are delicious.

Great food and place
This place has amazing crepes and you can make combinations of anything. Make sure to try the thin pizza in the beginning and desert crepes at the end. Quaint, cozy atmosphere with a fireplace but yet classy. Great for a few people, but large groups aren't easily accomodated, make reservations in advance.

Best creperie around
This place is absolutely fantastic. I've been looking for a good creperie ever since I first got addicted to savory crepes in Paris two years ago, and Beau Monde has the best selection and quality of anywhere I've found. I ordered a fairly simple savory crepe with mushrooms and goat cheese, which came out to $9. It was completely perfect. The selection here is amazing -- you can fill your crepe with anything from coq au vin to scallops. If you're on a tight budget you'll have to be careful what you put in, since it can really add up. If not, though, knock yourself out with all the fabulous combinations! The waitress was very helpful in recommending different ingredients and letting us know when some of our additions were unnecessary. The service was also super fast -- I couldn't believe how soon our food arrived. For dessert I ordered a delicious Nutella and Grand Marnier crepe, which to my delight was brought out in flames. The decor at this restaurant is really quite lovely as well, and the best part is the toasty fireplace in the middle -- perfect on a cold winter's day.
