    Not happy with the service

I recently made a reservation at this restaurant and they were very picky about how many in your party are there when you are seated, we were missing one person from our party and they did not want to seat us. After spending over 600.00 there they also wanted to charge a $5.00 per person cutting fee for cutting a cake that I brought in for my family member's birthday. My group of friends was outraged by this. The waitress was unhappy with our large group and I caught her rolling her eyes many times. Food was pretty good, but the service was subpar!

    So-So

Went for mother's day brunch. The best thing I had were the rib appetizers. Fall off the bone! Also had fried chicken with cornbread pancakes, however the pancakes were very dry. Also asked for a coffee con cuba libre (which has coconut milk) but drink had no essence of coconut whatsoever. I do have to say the atmosphere is top notch, and the dinner menu looks more pleasing. Also, the mango butter is great!

    Hemmingway would love it!

I really do not care for Mexican food and was dragged into Cuba Libre by some friends. My disgruntled attitude vanished after the first Sugan Cane Mojito. We all appreciated the "sampler" appetizer and entree' platters. What a great introduction to Cuban food! Allow the atmosphere to wash over you. You will be transported! A+

    Amazing

Everything I got was amazing. I am from Detroit & randomly picked this restaurant while traveling from work. I have gone back everytime I'm in Philly since. The only reason I didn't give value a 5 is that it is rather pricey but the food was amazing...if you got the budget or feel like splurging this place will not disappoint.
