I've been to the Currans in Philly a couple of times now and have not had a bad experience yet.It looks like an old firehouse turned into a bar.The prices are reasonable and the wings are the best I've had in a long time, very pleased that I've found my new favorite local hangout!

I ordered over phone 50 wings for $34.50. Asked waitress for order. Gave her two twenty dollar bills. Gave me my food and left. Another waitress gave me .50 cents. I said where's my change. Now to mention I had a tip in hand for other girl. She said I only gave her 35 dollars. N I had not drank all night. I just left I guess that waitress needed it more then me. What I make in day takes her 6 months. Bad experience but good food

Ive been going to Currans (Longshore) for many years and honestly i wouldnt eat there now if it was free! You know they dont clean the kitchen if they dont keep the dining area and bar area clean last time i was there i ordered a twisted tea it was brought to me with rust around the neck of the bottle and the lable was completly off like it sat in water for a long time i couldnt believe someone would serve a drink like that the waitress didnt even offer to put it in a glass for me. Our food took 45 mins. to come out and it was only us and another couple in the restaurant we only ordered wings and stuffed mushrooms (which were obviosly frozen not fresh) i hope they get there act together i miss the good food and great fun we used to have there!

I like Curran's on State Rd. Its nice and the crowd is great and the beer and food prices are just right which leads me to ask one thing. How come when I cross The Tacony Palmyra Bridge and go to Curran's in Palmyra,NJ that all the drinks prices are a dollar more than the State Rd one?

We just got back from Curran's on Bristol Pike and I must say we were very disappointed. First I ordered a Bloody Mary and asked that they put no spices in it. I got the drink and it was full of spices so it went back, The food was disapppointing. I then ordered a coffee and a piece of cheesecake and it took fifteen minutes for the waitress to get them to me. The coffee was cold and the cheese cake was still frozen. The waitress then told me she would not charge me for the cheese cake because it took so long to get to me. The soda and also the cream and sugar were in plastic cups. There are many other places to go to so do not waste your money.
