Great food
I went there or my birthday in October 2012, it was amazing. The service was outstanding, the food was out of this world. I would highly recommend to anyone

Do Not Waste Your Time and Money
I recently attended a rehearsal dinner party for 40 guests. Service was disappointing. Some guests received their meal 45 minutes after most others had eaten. Entrees were missing garnishings, such as the crabmeat on top of rock fish, proscuitto on top of chicken. The chicken was one small medallion. The veal was too tough to eat and did not include the mascarpone cheese potatos. Cannolis were empty shells. The owner/chef was not cooperative at resolving this. The entrees and prices were agreed upon in advance. He tried to increase the bill that night to still get his money. The air conditioning was inadequate. DO NOT GO.

Another little gem in South Philly
Had a birthday dinner with family. Food and service were excellent. I would recommend it to anyone. They have outdoor seating in the back as well. Another great little byob in South Philly.

Great food but annoying
Recently ate there with 3 other people. Although service and food were very good, what we found was that they have an open style courtyard for those who wish to eat outside.that's fine, however the door that leads to the courtyard is always left opened thus reducing the amount of cold air in the rooms. There is no worse thing than trying to enjoy a meal with bugs zipping by your face, food, and wine.We asked that the door be closed but they never did it. Personally don't think we will go back again

Underdog of the Ave
I sharing my great times with you all because it will take longer now to get a table on Saturday night... This place is actually amazing! Homemade bread, sweet crepe appetizer, pasta alfredo is delicate and not too heavy, mouth watering rockfish, the best charcutterie on the ave, tough yet tender pork, and simply grilled vegetables. It is our favorite Saturday night date spot. My fingers are always crossed for a table in the window... hard to get but a great view of the fountain!

underrated
This restaurant deserves better reviews by the critics. The branzino is excellently prepared and served. I loved the calamari and peas appetizer. My only gripe is that the staff ought to warn that the specials are much higher priced than the items on the regular menu.
