No Pickles!
My grandfather only ate Dalessandro's cheesesteaks, so I grew up with them. However, I went back and learned they have no pickles... so I went across the street where they have an AWESOME selection of peppers and pickles. YUMMY! Haven't been back since.

Such good cheesesteaks
I've been going to Dalessandro's since the 1970s and I have always liked the place (my brother even ordered hoagies and cheesesteaks from Dalessandro's for his wedding reception in 1986). It's my first choice for cheesesteaks -- their chicken cheesesteak is also really good -- and the hoagies are great, too. Dalessandro's seems to be more efficient under the new ownership while retaining the same feel of the place. And the food is just as good as ever.

Cheesesteak
The wife and I get a hankering for meat,cheese,and onions every so often. Been coming here for 35 years and the new owners have only improved the place. Beer, expanded hours, home made hots and downright a fine cheesesteak. Lightning service and a staff who always appear to enjoy your coming to their place. My only complaint is listening to people ordering a cheesesteak with mayo. Mayo, REALLY??
