    Not recommended

I have two issues with my recent experience. One, the customer service was not good. The owner was rude, uncooperative and impatient. Two, the food was lousy. The catfish wasn’t fresh, the mac n cheese was average and cabbage wasn’t very tasty. I do not recommend and will not use this restaurant again!

    Soulfood sundays mane!

Omg, the food here is beyond delicious! Minus the cabbage which I normally love. Everythng is always fresh ,hot,nd delicious.. Corn bread is like indescribable! Im gettin hungry writing this lol. U do need at least a half nd hour time slot while waiting but its well worth it.

    gotta go, gotta go

This place is unbelievable. The greens are the best I have ever had, and I have had alot. The salmon is so tender; the short ribs & the ox tails just melt in your mouth. Oh, and don't forget to try her special rice. I can't say anything bad. Just remember what Fran says, "soul food is not fast food", so be prepared to wait for the best meal in town.

    Soul food treasure

You have to be patient to eat at DeBreaux's, but it's worth every minute. Miss Frances cooks up the best greens and fried chicken in town, and her crab cake is ALL crab (except for the 2 large shrimp whose tails stick out like handles from the football-shaped dish). Her cornbread is so good that my son will walk over to the restaurant to ge some for a snack. Most folks get food to go; eating in (at one of the 4 or so tables) gives you the chance to have your food piping hot and to chat with the folks who come and go.
