Del Frisco's Double Eagle

The food and the service was excellent. Would go again as well as recommend it to all my friends.

We met friends Valentine's weekend for what we thought would be a great meal. After all, where better to get good steaks than a steal house. Of 4 steaks, 3 were totally cooked incorrectly. One was sent back by the manager twice before it was medium well. ALL the steaks were completely crusted with a HEAVY layer of pepper, yet no where on the menu was the word "blackened" used. So much pepper was used, the steaks were nearly inedible. In fact, after attempting to carve off the pepper, I ate my steak.

Del Frisco's is one of the biggest disappointments yet. Due to the high ceilings and wide open bar in the center of place, it's incredibly loud throughout the entire restaurant - especially if there's a good sports event on the TV. Steak was overpriced and overcooked. Flavor was nothing special either. Will not return nor would I recommend to friends.

The wait staff is pretentious--they even tell you which knife to use to cut the steak! The drinks are way overpriced as is the food. Unless you're on an expense account and you can't get into Prime Rib or Capital Grille, forget about it!

I went to Del Fresco's during Restaurant Week. It was the only time I could afford to go. But it was great. Food and service both excellent.

Start with drinks but eat at the Capital Grille.

This place just screams on how a restaurant should look, go here even only to stare at the vaulted ceilings... but the food is decent and the service just puts the finishing touch on the ambiance.
