Real Italian food
Im from South Philly and moved to Springfield when I started my family 10 years ago. I think it's kind of funny how some of those reviews say its not authentic. They have plaques on the walls of their GRAVY cook offs held annually. Yes, I said Gravy NOT SAUCE! This is place is authentic as it gets. the portions were huge and affordable. My wife and i enjoy every visit.

Still Good,But Not What It Was
DeMarco's food is very good.Great pasta,great pizza. But its not the same since Steve,who use to tend bar has left. Steve was an awesome bartender.Very friendly,always served you another drink as soon as you finished one.He made that bar. When I was in there last time,I asked the server if she knew where Steve was working at now and she just quickly said no and then [drop]ped the subject.I have a feeling that management must've told them that if anyone ask about Steve,don't say anything.If Steve was still working there,I would've given service a 5.0.Anyway,DeMarco's is worth the trip for for the excellent food and thats why I still go there.

Awesome, simply awesome
Anyone that likes Italian food should try DeMarcos. The portions are huge w/ a great atmosphere. Watching any game there is also a great experience.

Just alright
The food is okay. There is better Italian food and pizza in the area. The bar area is decent.

Terrible service, mediocre food
I had the gnocci with marinara sauce and the gnocchi was overcooked and the sauce tasted like a combination of ragu and a pizza sauce. The bread that they put on the table was probably bought at the Acme. If you'd still like to try DeMarco's order the pizza and eat it there or pick it up. Do not ask them to deliver. I ordered delivery and was told that it would be there in 30 minutes. An hour later, I called and was told that the driver was lost (we live down the street) and that she'd be there in a few minutes. 30 minutes later, I called again and was told that they copied our address wrong and that the driver would be there in about 10 minutes and they weren't going to charge me for the order. When I finally received the pizza, it was cold and soggy and all of the cheese had slid off of it and was congealed to the side of the box. I called back and explained what happened and the guy who answered the phone only said, " Sorry about that."

That's Italian!
If you love Italian food, great people and an overall great time... you have to go! I even saw the owner of Lebec Fin there... he comes for the hot and spicy pizza! Try it you will not be sorry! The chicken DeMarco is out of this world!
