Let's chaat...
Atmosphere/Service: The restaurant was empty on the hot, muggy Sunday afternoon i stopped by to check it out, but the owner was friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious! Only a few tables inside but more seating outdoors if the weather is nice. And I can't say enough good things about how sweet and helpful the owner was. Food: When you place your order, they ask you what spice level you prefer. Being a huge fan of chili heat, I went with "hot", and both my chaats were studded with seeded slices of fresh green chili. Perfect! The different sauces and textures of the elements in the chaats complemented each other well and provided a nice balance of sweet, sour, savory and spicy. Value: The most expensive chaat on the menu is 5.99. 5.99, people! The portions are large enough that I couldn't finish my plate in one sitting. Conclusion: If I didn't live in deep South Philly, I'd go here all the time, but even though it's out of my way, it's worth many, many return trips. Yum!

Great food experience
Great Indian street food and also some hearty dishes served. Taste is homemade and cozy and ingredients are fresh and unblemished. Owners are on site and care about quality. Welcomed to neighborhood.

A Hidden Gem
This place has by far, the best Indian food in the city. I've tried many different places, and I have not found one that compares. The service is also very welcoming and its BYOB. A must try!

Good & Fresh
I like to try different types of ethnic foods and this place is GREAT! I have been here twice and both times I ordered a spicy entree and was given a cold, sweet drink (sorry I don't remeber the name) that is supposed to balance the spice of the meal. This drink is excellent! I was also given some sort of sweet desert that dissolves in your mouth like cotton candy (Great). I highly recommend this place to all.
