Poor Service
I have been going to the Dining Car for 29 years. For the last few months, their service has been getting worse. The last time I waited over an hour for food that required no preparation. I am never going there again

My Diet = Dining Car
I love the Dining Car. I frequent it constantly. Not only do I over indulge in the food I eat during my meal, but I'm also known to order additional meals to take home and enjoy in my basement with comfy clothes on. If anyone wants to join me, just throw on a pair of comfy clothes and don't forget the pork roll, egg, and cheese. Yee ha!

Good food Poor service
So I am new to Philly and wanted to go to a diner because I had heard about large portions of good home cooked food. Went in the late afternoon and the food was good but the service was poor! Had to wave down the server every time we wanted anything from taking our order to getting the check.

My Favorite for Years.....
This is the best diner in Northeast Philly, by far. I have enjoyed it for as long as I can remember. From the servers to the atmosphere to the coffee and the sandwiches, it's all top notch!

Dining Car - Friendliest Diner Anywhere!
The Dining Car is what all diners should be like (but most have moved away from). First time customers are treated like friends, regulars are treated like family. The menu is extensive & everything is well-made. Don't forget dessert!

Best diner!
My favorite place to eat! I have been going there since I was little and I still go there even though it's about and hour drive. Worth the trip! My favorite is the hot turkey sandwich! They also have really good milkshakes. Also, they are now smoke-free, which is great!
