Wow how Dimitri's has changed!
Haven't been to Dimitri's in over a year. We live in Fairmount and we were contemplating take out tonight. Our first choices in Fairmount were closed on Mondays, so we would have to drive somewhere. My husband suggested Dimitri's and I thought, I haven't had their hummus or octopus in a Long time! I was looking forward to this! When my husband got back, not soo happy was I....Octopus was barely cooked, put that in toaster oven. On to the hummus, delicious:) Flounder next, opened the container and all I saw were 3 tiny slices of Flounder and NOTHING else, not even a slice of lemon! Really?! The Seafood Pappradelle was skimpy and the sauce was watery. I called back and asked where the sides and some type of sauce were? Apparently after over 20 years of operation, Dimitri's now runs since last Summer like a Steak House. How do you change that and not have anything stated online. $18 for the tiny bit of Flounder and $25-28 if I want one side? No Thanks! Enjoyed my memories of your amazing quality and plating of food, never again! And to top it off the place was empty, now thinking about what I ate, ugh!!
