I have passed Doms Seafood many times , but have never stopped in. Mostly because it looks old from the outside. But from what I've been told the inside was remodeled about 5 years ago. I was very surprised when I walked in. They have a wide variety of seafood. You can purchase fresh and cook it yourself or you can have your food prepared. Everything is made to order, so you may have a little wait, but it's well worth it. I have been stopping there about once every 2 weeks. And we have just added it to our Friday night hangout. We go with friends every Friday night and eat in. The mussels are fantastic and the jumbo lump Crabcakes rival any fancy restaurant. The prices are INSANE !! And we have never had a problem with service.

I have been to Dom's several times. The bisques are way too salty, to the point where it was just not enjoyable to eat, and I like salt! That is, when they have what you want. Twice they had no crab bisque, so we tried the lobster instead. They were out of 3 of the 4 items that we wanted on our last visit. I didn't find the staff to be that friendly either. I won't go back.

I must admit that the drive-up appearance of Dom's was off-putting but I was pleasantly surprised once inside. The freshness and availability of many types of seafood is superb. I decided to eat in, but it seems most of their business is take-out. Fortunately my server was very personable. The selection and quality of the seafood are definitely worth your attention. I'm not surprised they were voted 'Best of Bucks of 2012. I enjoyed a delicious lunch, which included New England Clam Chowder, a shrimp and scallops plate with cole slaw and onion rings. Don't overlook this diamond in the rough. Dom's Seafood is definitely worth your attention.

I have lived in the area for about 5 years and passed by Dom's many times. I just started going there on a whim with my mother one day for lunch. I love fresh crab and was in sheer delight when I saw them in the display case. They are flown live from Florida. I ordered 6 cleaned n gutted and a dozen steamed clams, and my mom had fried shrimp and onion rings. Astounded by the amazing price on the food we were pleased when it came speedy and high quality. Not only did I get to relive my childhood in Maryland, dining on crab n clam, my moms lunch was flavorful and satisfying. The batter for fried shrimp was rich and savory. I have been back several times for crab to go and I understand when I see reviews about the attitude of service. On becoming a regular I have developed a customer relationship and it has improved. Price in crab has gone up, but I assume it is something to do with the season. I intend to find out more.

The food is great, and I never had a problem with service, in fact the staff there have always been friendly and helpful. good variety, quality and a good family meal every time. My guess is those complaining walked in with their own attitudes.
