This is a great place for the family! When the nephews are in town (12 & 15) this is their restaurant of choice. I think it's a combination of the great food, the awesome root beer, the hip environment, all the pretty girls and the fact that they can order something called a "Big Ass Burger". The prices are right which is great for me, the Auntie who loves to spoil without breaking the bank. The fish tacos are fresh and Delish. Do not forget to open them and add the coleslaw. The smoked meats are to die for! The drink specials look good. Recently ordered the chicken on biscuits with sausage gravy. OMG!! What can I say! We have always been pleased and super satisfied at El Camino. Oh yes... 4 words... Chile macaroni and cheese. To die again for!! Atmosphere is geared mostly to young City folk though my 84 yr. old Mom use to love that place. I guess you are as young as you feel. Totally worth the try if you are in the vicinity. Have fun and enjoy!

Great food, service is polite but very slow. Great place though, just tell the wait staff to get it together.

Great food, love the brisket and pork...not basted in sauce, just rubbed and smoked. The Texas Cobb salad, cracky, and all the sides are terrific!

So good, pork shoulder and fish tacos are great. Nice service, could be a bit more attentive though. Gets crowded on weekends too. Overall, best bbq in philly by far.
