The portion is usually on point, but the server is very unfair with the meat portion. Today, my friend (a guy) and I ordered the same exact thing, a spicy beef burrito bowl. My friend was giving a hefty amount of beef while I received a dainty portion. I frequent El Fuego often because I love the taste of the food, but the portion needs to be more consistent regardless of the customer.

Used to be great but they have downsized their mega burrito's and have changed the tortilla size. I guess they did this to save money but it is now on the same level of other places. Boo-hoo!!

Not cheap, but you get your money's worth. It's delicious!

UNTIL we stopped in EL FUEGO on Walnut street I thought we were doomed to mediocre over priced Mexican Food. We eat Mexican food at least twice a month and have tried at least a dozen top spots but this Mexican cafeteria simply turns out the best food we have had in Philly. The cooks are friendly and produce some of the best flavors for your taste buds. Have two left overs that we will tackle for today's lunch And the place is clean to boot. Thank you.

Had a burrito the other day and it was awesome. It doesnt get any better than sitting outside with a corona and a burrito.

Awesome burrito! Loved it. Moved from San Diego. Living across the street and was particularly skeptical. pleasant surprise. They are supposedly opening another location. I'll see if they can branch out and make the big step. Enjoy the goodness friends.

the food is pretty good, but not as amazing as people seem to think. i would never wait on the line that happens at lunch for this food. also, it is way too expensive for what you are getting.
