Best Carnitas in Philly
The delivery boy didn't know where our place was, so the owner delivered the food himself on a bicycle. during rush hour. carnitas was tender and flavorful, pollo was all white meat, no random bits, the salsa we had was excellent and the rice and beans were great.

Incredible
We ended up ordering delivery instead of going to La Lupe when we got caught in a downpour, and this was the place we picked to try out. The food got here in about 30 minutes on a rainy Saturday night, so not too bad for speed. We ordered a chorizo burrito and the barbacoa weekend special to share. The burrito was huge- stuffed with perfectly done rice and spicy chorizo- and came with salad bits and fresh salsa on the side. Very very tasty. The real showstopper, though, was one of their weekend specials. The barbecued lamb (barbacoa) was insanely tender chunks of meat falling off the bone in a deep, spicy rich sauce. The platter came with fantastic refried beans, more of the rice, and great big strips of pickled jalapeno. It was silent other than moans of pleasure and disbelief as we polished off both orders in 25 minutes. The grand total? $19 baby!

chill place. definitely one of the better places in south philly. good sauces. pretty good value too.

Best Mexican in Philadelphia
this is hands down the best mexican in philly, even taking into account the fact that they don't have fish tacos. the carnitas is amazing, and the salsa crema chipotle is amazing. everyone who works there is super nice and the place is clean and the service is great.

A very fine Taqueria
The owners and staff are such nice people. The food is yum and they have a fantastic chipole salsa (i like the one without cream). Delivery is quick and the food is always consistant.
