I love a good pub. Good food, good beer, great atmosphere. E&C has your favorite English Pub fare cuisine, not to be confused with Irish pub food, BIG difference. If your looking for good quality fish and chips I would put this place first, they have the options between Halibut and Cod which is fantastic, I recommend the Halibut. Their menu isn't trying to be something its not, they are pub food, fish sandwiches, burgers, french onion soup, even the best Roast Beef Stuffed Yorkshire Pudding. The food was perfect and so were the prices. This places screams quality English comfort food. They also just newly renovated their entire facility, which no offense to it before hand but this was a much needed fix. If you get a chance wander around the bar area to check out the art work on the walls and pillars. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The first time I was there was during their lunch rush which I wasn't aware was such a hot spot. But being located right in the middle of the Business District on 18th and Market i can see why its so in demand. I hardly waited for a table, and my server was friendly, and my food was out in no time. I was truely impressed with the experience I had. Great place for a big private party or happy hour.

Not great. How can you mess up a thai chicken salad? Or chicken skewers? Uninspired. Unseasoned. Blah. But- our waiter was delightful, attentive, and very nice. They are lucky to have him!

Our work group has eaten here a few times and everyone was happy with their meals. The portions were quite large and we were all happy with the quality of the food.

This place is a chain. The food is frozen and then heated up at the time of your order and the service is poor.
