Lovely Dinner!
My wife and I dined at Ella's on Saturday night and we were Quite satisfied with the food, ambiance, friendly service, and overall dining experience. We were quickly greeted by our waiter after being seated and he was instrumental in guiding us in our menu selections as there were many appealing dishes to pick from. The restaurant was very busy- this is to be expected on a weekend night - we had reservations nonetheless. My wife had the bone in pork chop and I had the Lamb Risotto- both of us highly enjoyed these dishes. Our autumn salad starter with poached pears, carmelized figs, and those little grapes (champagne grapes?) was fantastic. We shared the peanut butter pie for dessert- this was heavenly. I'd highly recommend Ella's to friends/family and to anyone looking for a great meal complimented by a nice ambiance and professional, attentive service. We will be back very soon to try out more items from the menu! We are big fans of Ella's bistro! Did i mention the great wine selection as well? Ella's is definitely a gem!

Saturday evening
I went to Ellas last night with 4 friends. It was very busy which was a pleasant suprise. We were put in a small room apart from the bar and the main dining area. We had drinks at the bar first, which were pricy considering the crowd and the bartender was very rushed and not friendly. Once we sat, our waitress greeted us right away. She was very nice and made sure we were comfortable and right off the bat siggested her favorites on the menu, which was eclectic and hard to choose from. She explained the specials before we had to ask, and took our order. She came back shortly and informed us they were out of steak. It was a dissapointment but she made a few suggestions and my friends quickly chose new items from the menu. It took 40 minutes to get our appetizers, but our waitress was very kind and explained her mistake and made sure we were doing okay while we waited. When we got our food, the dishes were beautiful but the quality did not mach the price whatsoever. We finished our meal and had dessert, which although was "made from scratch" tasted a bit old and flavorless. Upon leaving, our waitress again made sure we were okay and thanked us for coming. I do plan on returning, perhaps on a weeknight when they will still have more food left in house on the menu. Overall, great experience and we hope to have our same waitress again!

Great food and atmosphere
I frequent Ella's quite often ever since they opened in December. The decor is classy and timeless, the food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and informative. I Look forward to every visit.

What an awesome place
My wife and I visited Ella's for the first time this past Thursday 7/19. Have driven past this place several times and wanted to give it a shot. The place was quite busy for a Thursday on the main line in July. The hostess was very accommodating given the fact we had no reservation and how busy they were. The first thing we saw was an award stating "winner: Best bistro" from some main line publication so we became instantly even more excited. Our waiter was superb; my wife had the roasted beet salad and the seared trout but of which she loved. I had the escargot and the pork chop which were exceptional. Desert was incredible, hazlenut crust cheese cake yum. Everything was great. Cannot wait to bring my friends! Plus their bar is beautiful. Looks like a great, classy place to catch a game

Creative offerings
Good bistro menu. Probably the bestclub sandwich I've ever had Friends had Cobb Salad and raved a about it. Sunny ambience and a hum of conversation.Waiter was good but perhaps a little "edgy"

Past It's Prime Fish! Tired lettuce!
Fish was spoiled! Yuk! No appologies except from excellant waiter. Manager not so much. Did take it off the tab. Ordered Cessar Salad insterad. Lettuce was brown, salad nondescript. Husband got the burger which was good but not medium rare as ordered. Not going back. Although the Pinot Grigio was excellant.

Great experience at bistro at Wayne
Walking in I was blown away by the character of this place from the old worn brass doors to the beautiful bar top to the classy dining room. The white table cloth with the comfortable quality food was devine and totally worth it. I was surprised how resonable the bill was given how great our experience was. Can't wait for our next trip
