Great food, odd atmosphere
I went there for dinner on a Saturday night, and it was almost completely deserted. It was a little strange when I first went in because I didn't realize that the place is primarily a bar, with a tiny, dark dining area in the back. I thought the food made up for any shortcomings in atmosphere, though. I ordered the beef tips, and they were great. There is so much food that I ate until I was ridiculously full, but it still looked like I hadn't touched my plate. I wasn't given the option of taking the food home, but I should have asked because there was a lot left over, and I'd definitely want to eat it again.

sort of weird
i dont know if this is a good place to try if you're a beginner, but it was ok. not exciting like thai, but i ate it. was confused by the "pancake sponge" item, but whatever. would try again, once i get more educated on their foods of course.

Strange place, but great food!
Forget the West Philly Ethiopian spot, this is the best in Philadelphia! The only drawback is that the atmosphere can be a little odd (it's just a bar, though there seems to be a restaurant area in a side room that isn't used), but the warm service, laid back crowd, and great food will make you forget it. It's also a great value!
