    Great Greek!

#1: The ambiance of this place is incredible. From the open kitchen to the seafood market, to the banquet hall downstairs, it only complemented the meal. #2: Service was excellent. Waiter was very attentive. #3: Food was fresh. Get the grape leaves! Only problem was the brunch had too many non-greek items.

    EXCELLENT FOOD & SERVICE

First time to Estias and would definetely go back. Their pre-fixed pre-theatre $30 price is a great value. Presentation, quality, service and decor all came together at Estias. Off menu can be expensive but the quality of the food and service is impeccable.

    colorful greek ambience

No better place for a marvelous selection of grilled fish. Also try the octopus appetizer. Country salad is huge and easily sharedwith chunks of imported feta cheese, slices of heirloom tomatoes and crisp strips of raw green pepper. Lobster sald is delicious, but expensive and not a lot of lobster. Live greek musicwonderful fun atmosphere and the restaurant has beautiful mediterranean decor.

    OPA

You cannot go wrong! We took friends with us last night to Estia and their first comment was about the atmosphere of the restaurant. Chic authentic Mediterranean best describes Estia. Since we went late after a show in town, we ordered drinks, hot and cold appetizers. The house red wine is wonderful and works well with everything we ordered. My favorite, Estia chips, light breaded, thin slices of zuccini with tzaziki. Just from the light fare we had, our friends were so impressed that we promised to return with them for dinner. Dinner for me is a choice from their fresh fish menu and my son's...lamb. What can be more Greek? As to pricing, they are no more expensive than any other fine center city restaurant.

    Wonderful Greek Restaurant

I cant believe any of the reviewers had a bad thing to say about Estia - I love everything about it - the food is delicious and healthful, the service is warm and gracious, the room is lovely and the prices are excellent.

way over priced for what it is

There are several other options for Greek food that are much less expensive and much better. Nothing stands out on the menu. There are many other restaurants in the area that are much more worth it.

    Outstanding

Our first visit was for lunch on New Years Eve 2005 and we have been back many times. A great Mediterranean fresh seafood restaurant. The black bass baked in salt is outstanding, as is the beet salad with micro greens. Everything is simple and well prepared without being drowned in sauces. You must try the homemade yogurt topped with warm honey and crushed nuts.
