The breadth of the menu really worked well for our family. Parents enjoyed spicy Senegalese fare. The kids loved the soul food barbecued chicken and great sides, including a very nicely homemade mac & cheese. We all enjoyed the juice drinks: ginger juice was very tasty and "Pink Lake" (mango/bissap mix) was delicious. Very affordable. Dining room was a bit overly warm.

This place has soul food, African food and Indian inspired dishes. It's authentic and delicious, worth the wait and sometimes confused servers. Very friendly atmoshpere, but definitely not ultra-chic or anything like that. It's fun, different and very good. I am a vegetarian and got the peanut stew which was amazing, even if I did find a little lump of chicken in the bowl. Great beans and rice... everything we had was satisfying and actually had some spice to it, which made me happy. Check this spot out for a fun evening of great food choices and an inexpensive menu!
