Bring your champagne taste and your beer wallet!
I have eaten dinner at FSG twice now, with the most recent being NYE. I have been blown away by the amazing tastes and quality for the money. Even on NYE, the menu was slightly more expensive, but they added courses to the meal. The menu changes seasonally. The escargot is delicious as well as the roasted beet salad. I had an amazing crab bisque with an amaretto cream which enhanced the sweetness of the crab meat nicely. The seafood dishes are fresh and seasoned perfectly, the cuts of meat are tender and expertly prepared. I love bread pudding and their bread pudding offering never disappoints. I have to get back to try the famous duck breast! I can't stress enough the quality and value of this dining experience. The menu is prix fixe year round, but nowhere else can you get the same quality and selection for the price.

Great Dinner
We ate here last night and we were seated on time, waitress came right over introduced herself. Dinner is a price fixe but a great value for all the food. Selections were great and we all enjoyed all our food. Would definately go back again.

Stay away on weekends, or eat quickly!!!
Have enjoyed dining at Fayette Street Grill for several years. Was very disappointed after my first "weekend service" when my friend and I were asked to leave (twice) on a Friday evening because we were taking up a table for too long (1:45 min., although you must select a 3-course meal on weekends....and that takes a while to serve). There were several tables that had been there as long, or longer, than ourselves. Very unprofessional. Should warn diners of such time prerequisites.
