Great Pizza
There's a sit-down restaurant with Opera music inside, but I've only gotten take-out. Their Mama's Homestyle pizza is consistently great. Little expensive, and the wait is a little long, but it's worth it.

All around a wonderful experience
I can't believe I lived in South Philly my whole life and waited until now to come here! This is simply one of the best hidden gems. Went on a Saturday night. Service was excellent. And the singing! Our waiter had such a great voice, as well as the other servers. Not really a fan of opera, but I am now! Fried calamari one of the best I ever had. Core'ngrato is simply delicious...This is the perfect first date or any date for that matter place to go. It's BYOB and reasonably priced. One try and you will fall in love just like I did!

Great South Philly Pizza
One of the best pizzerias in South Philly - a decent range of specialty pies and pizzas that are refreshing in a surprisingly quality pizza-deprived neighborhood.
