Great Experience
Food was great. I got the Gnocchi Fra Diablo and it was bangin. My girl got a slamon special and it was even better. The service was great making sure we were taken care of at all times. I have also gotten the Chicken sandwich italiano before and it was great. Brocolie rabe done just the way I like it. I went there on a saturday night and went downstairs to the bar after that and had an awesome time. The bartenders were professional and friendly and the prices were very fairly priced. The atmospher in both the restaurant and the bar were fantastic with great music on both ends. The food prices were a little high but only becasue of its location not becasue of anything else. I would reccomend Frankie's Cafe to anyone I know whether they are going their for just the food or for a good time at the bar.

Havertown's Hidden Gem!
Outstanding Mussels & Clams & real homemade pasta! This place does it right all the way down to the veal Theresa special. Three of us had ordered the veal medallions with shrimp & crabmeat in grand marinier cream sauce & it was the the best we've had anywhere! Ask for Chris, he's fantastic!

Disappointment
Very poor experience! The atmosphere isn't close to being worth the price! Food was fair at best and bar downstairs is entirely too loud. The bar downstairs can be heard upstairs. This atmosphere would be alright for cheap bar food but not for dining. We had a restaurant.com coupon which we showed the server upon arriving and he said we could use it. Once we got the check, he said he couldn't honor the coupon even though he already told us we could and there was not an expiration date!

Amazing Food!!
We get to Frankies pretty often for the roast pork sandwiches, baked clams and the gnocchi's! Absolutely amazing every time! We tried the veal parm last time and it was the best we've tried anywhere! Highly recommended!

Best seafood!
I love seafood and this place has the best! everything i have had there has been delicious. baked clams, clams casino, mussels, crab cakes... there is even a dish that has a little of everything called the frutti di mare. My wife and I eat at frankie's atleast once a week!
