" Take your shoes off under the table" GOOD!!!
Friend's is not the place you want to go on a regular basis if you are trying to watch your figure. The food tasted as if someone's grandmomma (yes, grandmomma) was in the kitchen. I went to Friend's to celebrate the birthday of a friend. The staff was very accomodating and set up tables for our party of approx. 15 people. They were even kind enough to stay open an extra 2 hours. The food came out piping hot and in good time. Once everyone was served, the conversation ended because people were too busy eating. Just about everyone had food left over to take home. You definitely got your money's worth. Although we brought our own birthday cake, people still ordered desserts. This would be a great place for a birthday party, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, baby shower or any other event. The atmosphere is very cozy and personable. Parking was not an issue (I guess because we went on a Sunday). BYOB was definitely a plus If you go to Friend's, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait to go back!!!
