Fuji Mountain

Went for restaurant week 1/20/13. Hubby had been before, I had not. Some restaurants don't really step it up for this event but Fuji Mountain did. Miso soup and Mushroom soup were both very well done and I dislike mushrooms. Salads were crisp, fresh and had the best salad dressings ( I bought some to take home). Lobster ravioli was to die for. You could taste everything, the lobster, the gravy, just delicious. The Spicy, steamed mussels (again, not a fan), were wonderful! Hubby had sushi for the entree and I had Fuji BBQ. Both were just above the top amazing. For dessert, the green tea ice cream and red bean ice cream were a nice end to such a fabulous dinner. 5 stars all the way.

Loved it here, food was great. James our bartender & waiter is the BEST! Maybe I'm just fawning over the place because I had the extra VIP treatment lol. My cousins are friends with everyone there so the place was closed, we were drinking soju beer & sake. And singing our little hearts away with his good old karaoke machine. We belted everything from spice girls to no doubt. An amazing night, with wonderful people.

Waiter was totally distracted and disinterested, even though the place was basically empty since it was late. He forgot our soup, then brought the wrong soups. The soup we did get was not good at all. California rolls were subpar but pork dumplings were great. Ambiance was great, and I honestly don't mind suffering through poor service if the food is fabulous, but unfortunately it just wasn't.

Went here with my family, including two children, ages 5 & 8. The waiter was very nice and accomodated all of our needs, creating special rolls just for my children that were a real hit. The steamed shumai was out of this world and all of us had noodle dishes that were outstanding, with all fresh ingredients. Very extensive sake and wine list. Atmosphere was very nice and the sushi chefs were all friendly and social. Highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

This is one of the few restaurants where the they have many option apart from just the sushi. Their soups and entrees are just as good as their sushi. The ambiance is great and so is the service.

I have yet to find an item on the menu that isn't fresh and delicious. Fuji Mountain is the real deal.

I'm not sure where this place came from, but when I asked the server, she said its been here for years! It's absolutely fantastic food, the sake list is ridiculously large, and I can't wait to go back and sing karaoke with my friends!
