consistently good fresh seafood
Been going to Gallo's since I went with my parents when I was a kid when they used to be in Frankford and have maybe had a bad meal there once in thirty five years. Years ago they probably used to be a better value but times change economically and businesses have to change with them. The food is still always excellent, the fish always still very fresh everytime. And the service always excellent. Since they renovated and put in a bar several years ago the only thing I could say is that it would be nicer if they carried some more variety of top shelf brands of whiskey and brandy. But that is not a complaint. Merely a suggestion. They make an excellent vodka martini.

best by far
relatives who live out of the usa come home and the first place they want to visit is gallos. even though they live in a tropical pradise they remember the days they enjoyed gallos. there is no place like home and gallos

A Joyful Eating Experience
Dined with my wife and another couple recently at Gallos and we had the nicest server who was very plesant and helpful with us. Was sold on a special they had that night, grilled monkfish in a lemon buttery sauce, which was recommended, and it was absolutely delightful. Looking forward on going back there later this week with my parents who will just love it.

great seafood
I love this place. I stopped in Thursay for lunch with my girlfriend and had the nicest server and the best meal! We were greeted right away and made to feel like we were the only ones dining there. The fried combo was excellently done and the eggplant delicious. Thank you to Gallo's and our server.

OK but not special
Hey, if you want some seafood and have not really eaten good quality seafood before, this place is OK, Service is friendly but the quality of food for the price is not real good

Good at half the price
Flavorless food with lots of grease. Servers were pleasant but fine dining is no where to be found here.

Looks good, tastes not so good
A friend told me of this place so we went for a weekday meal. The service was friendly and courteous if not spectacular and the décor was pleasant family restaurant, neat and clean. The food was unremarkable, bisque with excessive flour for thickening and bland boring crab cakes. Probably a good place for children but not the spot for the discerning palate. Food was plentiful but the price for quality was not good.
