The food was excellent! I had the BBQ chicken while my boyfriend had the Salmon. The resturant is quaint but I didn't feel smothered. My boyfriend noticed that it took a while to get our food but I hadn't noticed since I was enjoying his company. So I say, take good company and once you get your food you will be glad that you waited. it's worth the wait. The cream cheese pound cake was soooooooo good.

We've enjoyed eating at Gee Chee Girl several times, in their old and their new location. While I'm particularly fond of their gingerbread, I've tried many items on their menu and always liked what I had. There is enough variety to please all tastes. We've been impressed by the chef's ability to meet special needs and to discuss the ingredients in each dish. She usually takes time to circulate and meet her guests, and the staff is warm and friendly. This is not the restaurant to go to for quick service. It is a place for taking time to enjoy a leisurely, tasty meal.

The food is great. There are adequate low carb and low calorie dishes. The servers are friendly and keep customers well informed about the arrival of their meal. They use locally produced vegetables and fruits. We recommend giving them a try. You will not be disappointed. Favorite dessert - pecan pie. Ooh la la!!!

I was thrilled when Germantown got another sit-down restaurant! I have been there at least 5 times, and each time I have been very disappointed. Once, we did not receive our side orders until after our main dish had been cleared. Another time, I was not waited on for 45 minutes, and then it took another hour for our food to arrive. These errors could be understandable if the waitstaff had been friendly and courteous. Instead, I have felt like us customers have been inconvenience. I am sorry to give this such a terrible review.

The shrimp grits were fantastic, but you have to have patience to eat there because it can take a while to get your food. The greens were great too and so was the mint ice tea. The cornbread could be better but overall it was a good meal in a friendly atmosphere.
