Have been a customer at gia for years especially ordered MANY catered breakfast for my colleagues here on campus.. I do know that for these catered breakfast I have to order day prior as they have to order the pastries however this morning I needed only a box of coffee as we were celebrating a birthday at work. The person there gave me the hardest time complaining about how i should have called before, taking his sweet time to make it and tellinh me about five times "just so you know, we usually ask you to call to order." As if telling me once was not enough. Then he gave me the cups with no sugar no stirrers no cream or milk. I had to pack a bag of all this myself... when I asked for a lid for the cup of milk I had poured myself, he gave it to me telling me "just so you know, we usually charge extra for so much milk"!!! What?? All the other many times I ordered breakfast all this was included and for free. Right before I left he added yet another layer asking me if I needed the phone number in case I needed to call.... I cannot believe one would be so rude with a regular customer about this. Clearly there is a lot of competition around and the staff at gia needs to learn how to treat their customers nicely. You have lost me today, gia. No more catered breakfast from you... I will go to a place where customers are treated better!

I visited gio pronto today craving a salad. The staff was so friendly and the salad was beyond delicious. I highly recommend this salad place!

I highly recommend panino gia pronto. Definitely the most glorious yet guiltless Italian culinary experience in this side of eternity =)

I love the restaurant more than anything. The people are super nice and the service is excellent. The food is out of this world. I go there like 3 times a week for salad mostly but their paninis are soooo tasty. Everything is excellent. It 's the best cafe in university city and it's quick and easy to get food.

Finally a place that is fast and not bad for me! The food is very good and the atmosphere is hopping. I don't think the prices are to expensive. You just have to be careful you don't put 10 items in your salad. The Napoli sandwich is the best!

I have travelled all over Europe and Gia Pronto is the closest thing to Italy. Their grilled panini are amazing and their mozzarella is truly authentic. The chopped salads are incredible (I recommend the Rosemary Balsamic dressing). The cafe does get very busy, but that also means they serve a really good product. The espresso is a perfect way to finish. Gia Pronto is amazing! They also opened another location in center city at 20th & market, which is equally as good, though only open during the week for breakfast and lunch.

I am not one to generally write a review, however after reading the other reviews I had to add one. Not only was the food amazing, the atmosphere was extremely plesant and the service great. Yes, it tends to get a little crowded during the lunch rush, however the quality of the food and service definitely outweigh the meager wait that I experienced. So what if you can't bring other food into the restaurant, it has limited space and its either inconvience you, a non-paying visitor, or a true patron who would like to enjoy the meal that they purchased at the cafe.
