When a restaurant says that its food is Italian, they generally mean that its cooked in the Italian style and not that there's a magical portal to Italy in the kitchen. Trust me, the owners are not Italians or cook Italian style.

My family and I have been going to Giampinos for 5 years now. Never had a bad meal there. Staff is always friendly and attentive and Joe and Diana are charming and welcoming! Since the remodel, the restaurant looks absolutely stunning! Love the new menu and the food is always above and beyond my expectations! Go! Go! Go! Cant wait for Sinatra night! Ciao!

Our group of retired doctors meet at Giampino's every Thursday for lunch. We love the service, the food, the music, and the atmosphere. The lasagna is fabulous - the fresh bread is out of this world. I would recommend this restaurant to all of my friends.

I ordered one of their specials of the day and the quaility of the food was below average for the price ($20) that they were charging. Then on top of that, they did not accept one of their coupons. Poor serive & poor quality food= never returning again. Therefore, I would not recommend this restaurant.

This is one of my favorite places to eat! The food is mouth watering and the service is incredible. I always feel at home!

I made dinner reservations for 6:30. We were greeted by a young man who seemed so distracted with where he should seat us that he never confirmed the reservation. There were approximately 6-8 people in the restuarant when we arrived. Shortly after we were seated, a very pleasant waitress took our beverage order... but never came back. About 10-15 minutes later, we were greeted by another waitress who asked the same questions and came back with our beverages and basket of cold bread and little plastic packages of butter you would get at a take out counter. (It was so cheesy - I laughed!!) We sat and watched the young man who greeted us, eat his dinner with another couple (in the rear of the restuarant) before customers were served, before tables were cleared and periodly "interrupted" by guests entering the resturant. He passed the dirty plates on surrounding tables at least 4 times, (coming and going) and never acknowledged or followed up on those he seated. The wait between each course was torture! The appetizer special "Shrimp Dejour" was half cooked bacon around a medium shrimp. The side salad which accompanies your meal, is small, be prepared. The pasta was under cooked and the white wine garlic sauce was tastless. The tiramasu must have been frozen and microwaved - the moisture on the bottom of the plate saturated the dessert and made it unappetizing! The atmosphere although similar to the photo was dark, and became even darker when the owner reached over my husband , never excused herself - and closed the blinds. There are no linen table clothes, the napkins are rolled and placed on bread plates that are chipped. There was a lack of Restuarant Etiquette and substandard food! p.s. If you are seated facing the saloon doors to the kitchen check out the vent above the prep station!

I do not eat out often because i like my own home cooking, being Italian of course i do! I must say say that Giampinos is by far the best food, atmosphere and staff in the Delaware County. I especially like Monday nights because you can try a little bit of everything..
