Love Gillane's And The Clowns!
I love Gillane's. I've been going in there since 1993,in fact I met my husband there so it has a special place in my heart. Jimmy and Mary Pat and the rest of the staff are the best and the food is great. I don't know why some people always criticize the clowns. I love the clowns. Thats what makes Gillane's special from all the other places in Ardmore. Clowns make people laugh and be happy. Gillane's is the best on the Main Line.

Gillanes Is Great But
My girlfriends and I went to Gillane's had dinners & drink and everything was great. But the reason why I gave it 2.5 stars for atmosphere is only due to one thing, the clowns. As the reviewer before me stated, Gillane's has too many clown pictures and trinkets all over the bar. I don't mind clowns and I'm not saying that they have to get rid of all of it but at least scale back where the clowns are not so over bearing in the whole place. Outside of the clowns, love Gillane's, good service, friendly people.

Good Food
I like Gillane's. I have friends who live in Ardmore and they took me there one night and I just loved it and now I go there whenever I'm in Ardmore which is often. Mary Pat, the bartender is a great and very friendly. Great food and drink selections and I highly recommend Gillane's to anyone. The only thing is that they're too many pictures of clowns and clown knick knacks. Cut back on those and it would be perfect.

Cozy Atmosphere, Good Food
Comfortable high-back booths, great food, lots of regulars, tasty specials. Nice place for friends to gather and eat.
