Great healthy fast food!
Great value for money. Freshly prepared and cooked. Clean and cheap. I'll being going back!

Korean tacos- yum!
Surprisingly filling and tasty tacos, take advantage of the lunch special going on 'buy 3 get 1 free' for you and a friend. I called ahead to avoid any lines.

Spice Pork hot bowl! Awesome, get it everytime. Don't know anywhere else where food stays hot throughout the duration of the meal. Hint..drop the soy sauce around the bowl and let it sizzle the rice to a crisp... so good! Only downside is the size..its very small, can get quite cramped during busy times, especially lunch..enjoy!

Superior
I'm a fan. The dol sot bibimbop is awesome, as is the dae ji bulgogi. Probably my favorite Korean joint west of Broad.

Giwa's prices are competitive, its dishes (especially the dolsot bibimbap) are delectable, its milieu relaxed, its staff pleasant, its service quick, its facilities clean. What more can you ask for?

Best Korean in Philadelphia
Awesome food, great atmosphere! We've been going to this wonderful family run restaurant for the last few years. The owner who is always there, knows us by name and has let us try new menu items for our feedback. We will definitely continue to support this local family run business. Visit Giwa and I'm sure you'll have a great experience!

Average Korean
I frequent Korean restaurants and I found this restaurant to be less than appealing. You order the food and then get called up and pick it up. The food lacked strong flavors. The price was definitely less than other Korean places, good value, but the taste was average at best. I prefer Miga, even though slightly more expensive far better tasting food.
