Gnocchis were not good
I went to Gnocchi with a bunch of friends and the gnocchis there were not good. They were very bland as was the tomato basil sauce it was in. My friend ordered the chicken parm and that was delicious. The caprese salad was also very good. Gnocchis are my absolute favorite food and these gnocchis were absolutely not up to par. The staff was nice by the end but at the beginning they stared at us and whispered. The atomosphere is tiny but still very nice. All in all this is a below average Italian restaurant and the food is overpriced.

Remember, you're not at the olive garden
I was horrified to read some of the posted reviews. The food is as great as in Rome and the service actually better; a wait staff is there to feed you, not to fawn over you. Seafood salads are cold, you're meant to dine in courses, and the specials are what was fresh at the market that morning. For an Antipasti I recommend the Mushrooms with mozzarella and the simple salad with goat cheese, their dressing is light and refreshing. As an entree, you're on your own because everything I've ever had has been fantastic; try the saltimbocca. And of course, always order an espresso (don't be upset when it's half filled, that's how it is supposed to be served) and a large slice of the tiramisu! Their prix fixed menu cannot be beat, but requires 4 people. Gnocchi can host parties; I've been there with 15+ before and the plates were overflowing the table.

Most Disappointing Experience Ever
I went with some friends for our monthly BYOB outing. Wow. This was truly the poorest service I have ever experienced. We ordered an appetizer, and when it came, it was cold seafood. We had expected fried calamari. My friend picked up a shrimp and took a bite, thinking maybe it was what we had ordered. When he found it was cold, he put it down and we nicely told the waitress it was not what we had ordered. She argued with us that it was what we ordered. Then, in a huff, she picked the plate up to take it away. With her free hand she took the bitten shrimp off of the tray and put it on MY plate. I was not even the one who had bitten it! Then for the rest of the meal, she and the other waitresses ignored us, and talked really loudly in Russian, pointing at us and laughing. Great times. We ended up pulling the busboy aside and tipping only him.

great byob
My boyfriend and I just went here for Valentine's Day and had a wonderful time. I was a little nervous after reading some bad reviews, but both the service and the food was great. The hostess and waitresses were extremely nice (one of them even complimented me on my outfit haha). We both got gnocchi and I ordered the spinach gnocchi in alfredo with chicken and it was delicious. Our appetizers and entrees came within 10 minutes after we ordered it which was nice too. Considering it was Valentines Day it was rather busy, but we sat for a little after finishing our meals and had some wine and did not feel rushed at all. Overall, we had a great, romantic experience and I definitely recommend this place!

Dealing with staff not worth so-so food
I have been there twice and both times the wait staff was slow and the food was ho-hum. The last time I ate there it took well over an hour for our food to come, and then less than 15 min. after our plates were cleared as we were finishing our wine the hostess asked us to hurry up because others were waiting. There are so many excellent Italian spots, I don't understand why anyone would waste there time at this place.

Love this BYOB
My wife and I eat at Gnocchi frequently & are never disappointed. The food is simply delicious, authentic italian. The menu offers a wide variety and there are always daily specials so there is always something new too. The staff is friendly & accomodating, the prices are very reasonable, the portions are large. The lively atmosphere is another thing that keeps bringing us back. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in a great meal.

Love this place
Found this place by accident a couple of years ago, now we go here all the time. Food is terrific, the gnocchis are homemade and so good. Try the price fixed option if you are there with a party of 4 or more, they give you so much food, and it is all delicious! The specials are always good too!
