We are so fortunate to live in an area where truly great food is abundant. This restaurant is mediocre at best. The food is over salted, the service slow and sometimes rude, and the atmosphere cliche. Spend your time out and money somewhere better.

Less than average to mediocre over-priced food and drinks. What are the owners thinking? This is Mt Airy. Mt Airy is just another working class Philadelphia neighborhood despite the 6 nice houses in the area. The food here matches the neighborhood: just regular and nothing special, so why are the prices so exorbitant? They should look at the other over-priced restaurants that had s0-so food as an example. They're all gone! I mean really. No one goes to the Goat Hollow because the food isn't great, and the prices mirror those of Center City restaurants with good food. But this is the hood, and the food is below average.

The food is fresh, unique, and above all tasty. They have a gourmet twist added to basic dishes that put their food over the top. I am a food snob and I take these compliments very seriously. The only one thing I would improve is the dessert menu. Other than that, you will really enjoy your meal. The nice part is, is that the waiters don't mind your questions about the menu; they welcome them! Don't miss it!

I can't believe I'm the first review for the new Goat Hollow. I had visited the old Goat Hollow many times but this reincarnation is superior. Very friendly and attentive service, interesting menu which happens to feature really tasty food, and an almost historic feeling atmosphere. I was there with a group of 8, all of whom enjoyed what they ordered. I expect a free drink the next time I'm there for this very positive review. MT
