only place i will eat chinese
I have been going here for all 15 years of my life. The food is excellent, and I absolutely love Sam! Never have I had a bad experience here. I pick up, pick up takeout, and order for delivery and never once have I been disappointed. Every other chinese place that i go to just doesn't cut it.. THINGS TO TRY: House special wonton soup Pork (or chicken) fried rice Roast pork egg foo young FRIED CHICKEN WINGS!! Steamed dumplings Terreaki (spelling?) beef

Best Chinese in the city
You can never go wrong. Fast, fresh and very friendly No MSG, wonderful vegan and vegetarian fare. They do it right!

Fresh, Fast & Fabulous
I ordered from here after reading a couple review blogs with wonderful rating and they were right this place is great. I received my food in less than 30 minutes via delivery (we do live only 6 blocks away) but still it was fresh and fast and delicious. I ordered our families fav General Tsao's, Scallion cakes and Lemon Chicken. Servings were generous, ingredients tasted fresh and my favorite part was the chicken was perfectly cooked not rubbery like many chinese chicken dishes can be. This now our place to eat Chinese. I look forward to dining in someday soon.

All Hail Sam, For He Is The Divine Power
I have been going to "The Garden" for at least ten years now, and not once have I been disappointed. The entire waiting staff consists of the friendliest little man you'd ever want to know. The food is piping hot and delicious, and for those who prefer vegan/vegetarian food there is an entire menu for you. Delivery is always fast, but I strongly recommend going there in person, if only to bask in the waiter's glory. He will always pour your soda for you, which is a really nice touch. Nowadays, I rarely stray away from the Lo Mein, but I've had almost everything on the menu and nothing has ever tasted bad. It's tucked away off South street on 5th street, right next to the record store and the obnoxiously exclusive sneaker store.

The best
This place is a little gem. I have been going there regularly for over six months and everything I have tried is very fresh and tasty, portions are generous and service is excellent. I also get their food delivered often and they are punctual and friendly. Another good feature of this place is that there is something to suit everyone, from 'standard' Chinese food of the highest quality to healthy and vegetarian options plus everything can be adjusted to suit individual taste. I can't recomment this place enough.
