    Great Breakfast

I loved this restaurant. We had wonderful service, the portions were enormous, and the wait was minimal. We actually visited it twice during our stay in Bensalem, and both experiences were great.

    Thanksgiving Dinner

The food was good. It could of been hotter. The only problem we had was the service left a lot to be desired. There was no serving utensils we had to use our own spoons. The food came out in little bowls there was 19 people at our table and some people were irritated because we had to ask for gravy, cranberries butter etc. I would not have another big dinner there but I would eat there again. We felt it was too much for one waitress to do, and no one came near us to ask if everything was as expected. I guess this isn't the restaurants area of expertise. Maybe they should have someone who knows how to handle larger parties.

    Call Chef Ramsey

Ordered pototo soup. It came just barely warm, but not warm enough to eat. Ordered hamburger med well. It came med. rare. Obviously frozen burger. The ding bat waitress didn't even bring out fork/spoon/napkin. We picked it up off another table. Coffee was stale.

Should changed it's name to Worse Amercian Diner

My friends and I would go to Karaoke Nights Tuesdays and Thursdays. Let me say this don't waster your time going there. First off My one friend and I were there for dinner already with his grand dad about a hour before Karaoke started. Let just say my meal the last 2 times I ate there was very poor. The dessert was okay but the meal and the service was not. It took our table awhile to get refills on drinks. Also we were forced to re order food and drink during karaoke or we would have to leave. I went to the manger and tried to explain that we were already there. He asked for the recipet which I didn't have cause the grand dad paid for the meal. They told us we would have to order again. We already spent 34 bucks there before and we weren't hungry. Also during karaoke which is an event my friends and I love to do. We have been waiting to sing we all got to sing one song and we put in requests to sing. We were told that there were 4 people ahead of us so we stayed and wait. Then it was 7 people ahead of us and so forth. My one friend and I left cause I had to get home but, my other friend stayed to wait to sing and when he asked the DJ when his turned would be. She said that he wouldn't get to sing again even if he waited all night. So he got fed up and left. I will say this we are never going to do karaoke at Great American Diner. We payed a lot for food even though we ate there already an hour ago and we only got to sing 1 song each and we stayed till 12:10. I would say don't waste your time and money here.

    run from here

Went here for a late dinner with my husband and a few friends. for starters the waitress spent her time flirting instead of paying attention to our order or noticing how filthy the table was . the food was lousy half the order was cold the other half burnt. It took for ever to get refills for our drinks because she was so busy chatting away with some guy . This was a total waste of money thank God for the company of good friends. Best advice run from here .better off at mickey d's

    Stepping their game up

The restaurants, both Bensalem and Langhorne, are beginning to step their game up. The beers on tap are becoming more micro-brew and less mass produced garbage. I'm not talking Blue Moon, I'm talking Brooklyn brewery, Founders, Yards, etc. The owners have brought in people that are trying to turn the restaurant around for the better and it's beginning to show. The food is a good value, and some highlights are the Belgian Waffles for breakfast, Patty Melts or any of their deluxe sandwiches for lunch, and take your pick for dinner. I can't really say there was anything I was disappointed with. If you've stopped going there I would say give it another shot as I stopped and will probably be going back more frequently.

    Poorest Meal Ever!

Today we decided to take our teenagers out to dinner, what a waste of $69.00! My daughter and I ordered the 3 course $10.00 meals. They say you get what you pay for and they are right. She had the Chicken Alfredo, the pasta was undercooked and had no seasonings, the chicken was rubbery. I had the Steak Fajitas, the steak was cut into about 1/4 inches and there was only 6 very small pieces and was almost all Grissel and overcooked, there was half a onion and half a green bell pepper! You would think that was bad enough but wait we ordered the banana cream pie, what a joke! I was made with a pre-made crust filled with imitation whipped cream and a brown banana shoved into the middle. My son had a chicken ceasar wrap, which was dry on the inside and very soggy on the outside, go figure! The only thing edible on the plate were the french fries. My other son had the BBQ open faced pork sandwich which looked unappetizing. My husband had the Ruben which he said was okay. We did have the potato soup and chicken orzo which were good. I suggest you stay away from this diner!
