best breakfast philly
hands down... creative dishes, good service, environmentally responsible owners... delicious... we go there as often as possible... as creative as Carmens country kitchen but far more reasonable prices

Great Experience
This is the third try and all 3 have been terrific. Love the philly pretzel rolls offered for breakfast. Genius! The chicken salad sandwich on a seeded challah roll was great along with the sweet potato french fries. Service was very attentive and very friendly. Not sure what others experienced. I would go back again and again.

It's a pity
I live a stones throw away from this place and if the service was professional and/or decent, I would be there for breakfast at least once a week. Instead I resort to green eggs when I have no other choice. Foods yummy. Service sucks.

Petty Owners
I would really like to love Green Eggs Cafe, but after going many times and trying to accept the petty add on fees that they do for a to go container or for using your credit card, to the table tents that politely tell customers "eat then get out", I find it even more distasteful that if you sit at the counter and listen to them you realize that they never smile or say hello and talk about private business matters as if you are invisible. The servers are good considering.

Green Eggs is Great!
I go to green eggs often, mostly take out, but every experience is enjoyable. Food is fresh and nicely prepared; however, it is not always consistent. Overall good food and service.

Unpleasant experience
Breakfast took us an hour and a half. They messed up my wife's order, after we waited 40 minutes for eggs and the waitress didn't come back for another 20. I tried to close out my tab at the counter and they told me to get the waitress...we just wanted to leave.

Amazing & Desirable!
I recently visited Green Eggs Cafe out of sheer curiousity one day as I was walking by. I was expecting a typical cafe with typical quality, and basically a typical experience. However, I left with everything but a typical experience! Their menu is very reasonably priced, insightful, kid friendly and the portions of food are plentyful. Quality is definitely something that the people at Green Eggs Cafe take seriously. The fresh food, the great friendly service, and the atmosphere are all reasons why I will continue to visit Green Eggs Cafe. Not to mention, their coffee bar whips up some awesome lattes!
