Great experience
You will not be dissapointed with the food. I had the dumplings in chili oil. Awsome! It was spicy, but you could still taste the flavors of the food. Can't wait to go back.

Great food not service
The food was really good, but I was very disappointed with the service. My friend and I walked in and a woman assigned a table to us, we asked her if we could possibly get a table that was either next to the window, by the walls or in a corner, we even told the woman that both myself and my friend had a little cold and we were trying to avoid being So close to everybody else. With the place less than half full she just said NO and walked away. They took really long to take our order and also to bring us the check..... They need to work on the service, otherwise I would recommend the place to everyone.

food is outstanding
the dan dan noodles, the wontons in hot oil, the dry sauteed string beans and the cumin chicken made an unbeliveably excellent and resasonably priced meal. the noodles were just spicy enough to get our mouths tingly but not so spicy where all we tasted was the spice. cannot wait to go back for the food.

authentic!
having lived in china and all over asia this is some of the most authentic I've had since being back in the state. For the reviewer who said everything is swimming in oil - that is the basis of a lot of the cuisine - if you want Szechuan go here -if you cantonese or hunan go to chinatown. if you can handle the heat go to Han. Hot pots are amazing, spicy cucumbers great contrast of heat and cool - atmosphere isnt much but it wasnt meant to be. enjoy it for what is is!

Floating in Oil
The flavors themselves are nice, and incorporate a lot of subtlety, not just heat level. However, I was unpleasantly surprised to find that all of my food was literally swimming in oil. No sauces were used in the protein and dumpling dishes - just chili oil. The chili oil itself had a distinctly old vegetably undertone. The vegetables were also all smothered with gloops of oily sauces. I left feeling very greasy, and in need of a detox and some fresh flavors. The food here makes fried chicken look like health-food.

Spicy Spicy Spicy
Been going here once a week for about a year now. Great food, great prices. If you're new to authentic Sichuan cousin, ask Han. He'll be glad to recommend something. Fish Dry Pot and Double Cooked Fish are my favs

After several recommendations from friends
I finally got the chance to try this place.. We ordered Dumplings(all noodle no filling & lame sauce)...Cold Pork belly (dry and fatty lump of sliced pork belly in chili oil?)app...Cold soba noodle(good)...Dan dan noodle(good) ....Lamb dry pot(An odd combination) and chicken crispy rice style(If you like things swimming in sauce and reconstituted shitake musrooms)...... Of all of these nothing really stood out...Especially if you compare this to chinatown fare or washington Ave faves.. The only thing this place did live up to is the spice level.HOT!
