Happy Rooster: filling, American-style
Small, dark, pub feel. 15 seat bar, wine, spirits, no beer on tap. Ordered the calamari tempura, was delicious. Also, caeser salad was good. Both appetizers were very large, lots of food. Ordered Filet Mignon for dinner, very good, very rare. It came with an entire fried egg on top. Proportions all-around large, very much worth money. Appetizers: $8-16 Entrees: $16-28 I give it a B. Large portions of good, hearty food, waitresses seem preoccupied. Very small, loud pub, not really for families. Bathroom suitable, nothing special. Did not card me for alcohol. I would reccomend it for a group, perhaps not a couple, and for singles at the bar.
