Great Time
My buddies and I went to Helium to see Greg Fitzsimmons and we had a blast! This guy was as funny as he was when I heard him on radio that morning. The place was totally comfortable in terms of seating, unlike most comedy clubs I have been to. The food was fine, nothing crazy. Our server was great, staying in touch with us as soon as they noticed we needed another one. Judging by the upcoming acts posted on their website, I know I'll get back there.

Not humored
This place is definitely a hit or a miss. The first time we went to Helium, we saw Patrice O'Neal and had a blast. The $25 ticket price plus two drink minimum seemed like a bargain in light of the quality of the show. As a result, when it came time to choose a place for my husband's 26th birthday, I couldn't think of a better place. Expecting lots of laughs and friendly service, I left Helium infuriated after problems with our server and the comedy just a bit above average. Not only was our server uptight, but he insulted two of the people in our party and ran away when I confronted him on his poor behavior. Needless to say, an enormous damper was put on the rest of the night and I will never patronize this establishment again.
