The best restaurant experience ever....
I came across Hibachi's through a friend who then tried to tell me about but I reluctantly wouldn't listen. I thought of a Japanese restaurant as a place where a bunch of raw seafood and shellfish were served. I can gladly admit that I was wrong. I and a few friends went for a birthday outing, and it was a spectacular experience. I mean from the chef, to the birthday gong, to the food. I would definitely recommend Hibachi to everyone. I was also shocked to discover all of the different age ranges there enjoyingthe whole scenerio from youngest to oldest.

A great time, but hesident at first
Me and my future wife had dinner here on a late Sunday afternoon. I t was my first time here and I do plan to return. I have a food allergy to shell fish and was worried a bit when seated.10 people sit at a table. The grill is right there in front of me. When I ordered I mentioned my allergy to order taker. When the cook showed up and reviewed our order he made mention of my allergy. I wondered how he was going to cook my meal with 8 others that had shell fish in them. He cook mine first and made sure when he cooked shrimp, he cooked them at end of grill away from me. Very considerate. This was the safest I felt eating a meal at a seafood/steak place. I guess seeing how my meal was prepared safe for me was the selling point. I had a great time and the chicken/steak combo was great. If you have a food allergy this is a place to go to feel safe and secure and not worry about a reaction to food with cross contamination in kitchen.

Great food, good time
I chose Hibachi of Springfield on a whim while in the area and was very impressed. The room we dinned in was close quarters seating- making for a lot of interaction with the others at the table. Our server was friendly, attentive and on top of things; and our chef had a great sense of humor that made the entire meal a lot of fun. The food was excellent, especially given the price. With drinks, appetizer and entre, dinner for two totaled about $60- but it could very easily be kept under $45. If you're looking for a very interactive, social dining experience, great food, and all the flare of having your meal cooked right in front of you (complete with the classic onion volcano!), I recommend Hibachi of Springfield.

Great food and excellent service!
We had so much fun going to Hibachi! The staff is very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. When it's your birthday they bring out the gong! If you get there before 6:30, you'll get the early bird special prices! You can't go wrong!
