A wonderful Vegetarian Choice
I have eaten here multiple times since Horizons opened in town. I enjoyed the other location and perhaps it is sad that they can't be at additonal places. Mt. Airy would be my first choice. I have always had a positive experience. I am happy that someone has had the desire to open a restaurant of this caliber in Center City and wonder why there are not more vegetarian places. I wish it were open on Sunday but the workers probably enjoy a better quality of life taking the day off! Keep up the high, fun, standard.

Not What They Used to Be.
Horizons Philly does not slighty resemble Horizons Willow Grove. Waitress was snooty, second floor location makes it difficult for older people (who may ruin their new image) and the decor is definitely not the edgy, fun atmosphere of Willow Grove. The prices were practically double for the exact same entrees and the menu was limited. Not worth driving from the Burbs and paying to park.

i don't get the hype
food was decent, prices were high, portions were small, staff was unfriendly.

Excellent- A must for vegans and vegetarians
I am vegan and I love horizons, the food is so delicious, the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. The service is pleasant and genuine. I would recommend this restaurant for not only US Vegans or Vegetarians, but also Meat Eaters. Meat Eaters may change their minds of ever eating meat again. It's very delicious, don't take my word just go for yourself and you will be saying the same thing. I can't wait to go back to Philadelphia to go to horizons to eat. The appetizer, entree and desert is unbelievable.

very satisfied meat lover
My girlfriend and I visited the restaurants last week, and as someone who enjoys a big juicy steak I was completely satisfied. My girlfriend took a peak at the reviews and for starters she got the Jamaican BBQ Seitan while i enjoyed the chilled cucumber avocado soup. Both were amazing, but I was a bit jealous of her bbq seitan. For dinner she got the pan roasted pepper corn tofu, and loved every bite. I got the five mushroom which was simply delectable. Thank god I had room for desert because the lavender strawberry cheesecake was to die for... well maybe just a flesh wound!!! Whether you are a vegetarian or dream about steak make it a point to stop in and enjoy a wonderful meal!!!

Unbelievable
I have been to Horizons several times and they never fail to impress. The food is amazing, given that it is strictly vegetarian. Especially their dishes with seitan blows your taste buds away. This is a place you could bring a meat eater and still impress her/him. The atmosphere is perfect for a date. If you are vegetarian, you have to come here!

Decent food but way overpriced
I reside in Manhattan where Candle Cafe, 79, Blossom are visited by my friends and I on a weekly basis. The food is very good but the prices are outrageous for the Philadelphia area. I've owned residential properties in both cities for two decades and can tell you first hand that they can not justify the prices in any way. The prices are New York and Los Angeles prices inside Philadelphia. Just to be reasonable, they should lower it at least 17 to 20[%]. Nonetheless, my wife and I go everytime we are in town and enjoy the food.
