Wood fired Pizza
What a great restaurant. The place has a great feel, kind of rustic and the staff are great. The pizza is brilliant, there is a flavor that comes from a real wood fired oven that makes all the difference, this is Neapolitan pizza as it is meant to be.

Best Pizza in Philly!
I know this restaurant has only been open for a little over a month but my boyfriend and I can't seem to get enough. It is on our way home from work so we stop in a few nights a week--it's very convenient for those driving on Kelly Drive or the Expressway. The food is absolutely delicious--our favorites are the ceci bean and lentil vasi (which is similar to a bruschetta), the ribs (fall off the bone) and the quattro formaggi pizza (I swear they could put anything on that crust and it would taste great). Oh and you must not skip out on dessert--the zeppolis melt in your mouth. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The chef/owner has an impressive background and this place certainly lived up to my expectations. In Riva is a wonderful addition to the area and we look forward to visiting many more times.

Best wood fired pizza ever!
Went to In Riva for the first time the other evening and what a great time we had! The place is so very cool looking, loft apartment kind of feel. And the crowd seemed to be having such a good time. The bar was packed and most of the tables were taken. The pizza was amazing. Never had better anywhere. Stella, eat your heart out! The chef/owner, Arthur, was extremely nice and was in the open kitchen most of the night making the pizzas but then would take a break and walk around the restaurant talking to the customers making sure that everything was ok. And that wood burning pizza oven? What a beauty! And you can see its embers burning from almost every table in the restaurant! So soothing! Also, all the small Italian plates we tried were all amazing too. Great addition to our East Falls neighborhood! Good luck, In Riva!
