    Best Crabs We've Had!

We ordered 2 bushels of steamed and seasoned blue claw crabs and they wre out of this world. They promised them by 1pm and they were done by 12:30. The service is excellent!! This is the only place we'll ever go to again for crabs!

    To the last post

Sir im sorry but i have to clear up your last post. First, Our flounder platter (made with day boat Fluke flounder) is 13 dollars not 16. Second the fries are now fresh cut from potatoes not frozen like before. Tartar sauce is given upon request, same as before. Fluke has gone up 40 % in price in the last year. It's just a reality. We do not want to sell frozen fish so we needed to raise the price 1 dollar the portion size is 10 oz serving. that hasn't changed either. the box was changed to get away from styrofoam. about the same size box. I do want you to know, if you ever have a problem with anything at ippolito's you can always come back and we will work it out. I usually stay off these reviews, i read them, but don't comment, but this i felt i had to answer... i hope i did not offend you in anyway. cheers, Ippolito's

Not like it used to be

I used to go here all the time for the Flounder dinner when the gave you 2 huge pieces of flounder, a mound of bay seasoned fries and a small sampling of coleslaw for around $12.00. I went back last week after not going for about a year and ordered the same flounder platter. Boy was I surprised - the flounder dinner now comes in the size of a small shoe box, the 2 small pieces of flounder were not even equivalent to 1 of the previous pieces, the french fries were soggy and there was no tartar sauce included - and now the price is close to $16. What a ripoff. Will not be going back there again.

    great place

It was my first time going and it was worth it. Oyster po boy was excellent. Shrimp salad was very flavorful and the rolls were extremely fresh. The great food was a bonus I would have been happy with a variety bag of rolls! Prices are very reasonable

    Best Crabcake!!

I enjoy their crabcakes and crab stuffed shrimp! Well seasoned and full of lump crab meat. Their sides are delicious too. Try the bay fries and fried eggplant.

    Best Fish Cakes

Ist time I went in and bought some fresh fish, it was great. On the way out I got a fish cake for a buck, WOW it was fantastic. Now when I come in from NJ I get a doz or two at a time. Love this little fish store.

    Stuffed Flounder

Everytime I go I must get the Stuffed Flounder (broiled or fried). It makes you close your eyes and just chew. WONDERFUL! The potatoe salad is good also, I wish they would give you a boiled egg since it is not in the salad anymore.
