What did they feed me
We ordered delivery. Man on the phone sounded mad to even take the order. We were told 30 mins. After an hour we called back to check if they had our address right. He said the delivery man should be there any second. 15 mins later the delivery man showed up. The spicy fries were microwaved and in no way spicy. The drop of cheese whizz on them was the only satisfying fry in the box. The cheese raviolis with meatballs had hardly any sauce on them; I had to add my own marinara. The fried shrimp were microwaved straight out of the frozen pack I'm assuming the came in. After waiting for over an hour for this busted meal, I would have thought it would have been better. Neither delivery driver nor man on the phone said sorry about the wait. The front of the menu says speedy delivery... was that a joke? This place sucks!

This isn't your father's J&J
We've been ordering from J&J since the early 1990's, and that franchise has disappeared. All the cooking has been done by folks who don't know or care how to prepare food, and the quality has fallen off the edge of the earth. Last night, my son and I ordered chicken fingers and what arrived was 15 chunks of charcoal. In my 15 years in hospitality, I wouldn't dream of ever serving that to a paying customer. In fact, no one in their right mind would serve that in a homeless shelter, but J&J had no problem serving that up to a long time customer. After nearly 20 years, it's time to realize that J&J has outsourced its business to folks who don't care about anything other than clearing another order off the screen. So long, J&J! Enjoy your retirement down the shore, you'll leave an empty hull in the neighborhood.

I was almost impressed with how bad they were able to screw up absolutely everything.
Hot wings are dry, bland, and had absolutely no hot sauce on them. the "Spicy cheese fries" i ordered - were neither spicy nor cheese fries. They were plain, frozen curly fries. They were soggy and pretty unedible - seemed like they stole them from the Arby's drive thru and microwaved them. Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak was semi-edible, but the roll was soaked through and soggy, and fell apart. Overall, can't recommend this place to anyone. I'm surely never ordering from them again.

Rubber breakfast
Toast was burnt and like a brick. Waffle was like a rubber tire, no flavor, and I couldn't bring myself to swallow a second bite. Couldn't even give it away! Asked for eggs over easy. They were way over cooked. Home fries were burnt, flavorless and had a rubbery texture. The crapple: (yes this was an intentional error) since this was thinly sliced and deep fried reminded me of 3 rectangular potato chips. I will never order breakfast from here again or anything else. I could understand if it was just one part of the order that was botched but this was a complete lack of quality. This is the best place to order delivery if it's for someone you don't like.

poor breakfast in philly
Not only did it take 45 minutes for delivery to a house 3 blocks away, the delivery driver was completely lost,i found across the st.3 doors away. The cook got the sandwiches all mixed up so we had the wrong meat on the wrong bread.I called back and was told"oh, it will be better next time."Then i actually tasted it,absolutely the poorest breakfast sandwiches ever. The home fries were actually just overseasoned shredded potatos.I'll never order again.

Not bad but not great...
I only get takeout, their delivery service is good, on time, and the food is always hot.. I'm just not a fan of their tomato sauce, it's too sweet, or their subs kinds bland and sides aren't all that great but they do some things really, really well.. I love their strombolies without the sauce.. they used to have better cheese or a better cheese combo at least like a year ago but it's still good... their chicken sandwiches are great.. I haven't tried the seafood at all and I've tried some of their pasta dishes and aside from the slightly too sweet tomato sauce, they were not bad at all... I do really like their wings as well.... very yummy! I'd say check them out but if you don't like what you got, try something else because as i said, they do somethings I really like, and others not so much. I'm sure you'll find something to your liking.. they are open late, which is a real bonus... the food is fairly standard for take out but it's always consistent, so you know what you are gonna get..
