Best Pastrami South of Katz Lower East Side
Place is old and a bit dim; mid-century atmosphere sets you in mind of the old, defunct R&W on Rittenhouse Square, Cy Green's in Olde City or even the greatest of all pastrami palaces, Katz Lower East Side. Service is very quick and friendly as if they expect everyone will become a regular (of which there are many). Pastrami, corned beef and deli fishes are the best around. Bagels are very, good. Prices are right. If you want an established, reliable deli to eat in or take out, this is a fine choice.

Not too much for the young crowd
Service is great here, food not so much... Atmosphere is a bit on the over the hill side and not a young crowd at all
