An Oasis on Fairmount
Walking down Fairmount ave. after a day inside the Pearlman addition to the art museum and I stopped here for lunch with a guest. We sat out side in a courtyard with umbrellas and a waterfall, it was delightful. I had the pear salad and my friend had the portobella sandwich. Love the fries. Everything was great, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was most enjoyable. I will try to make this a regular stop sans the museum.

Great!
We went there for drinks and it's a great atmosphere. The bartender is very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the fries and they were damn good! Crisp and flavored with thyme I think it was-delicious! Would definitely go again! Though I wouldn't order the house wine!

Don't like the food
People that have written reviews for this restaurant are delusional. The food tasted defrosted, except the dessert, chocolate cake, which was nuked. Total waste of money!

Can't believe no other reviews
Another one of those Philly restaurants we just happened to fall into. We go to shows in Philly and chose a different restaurant every time. Will seldom go back because we want to experience all that Philly has to offer. Jack's is one that if we do find a reason to return to we will. Great food and a neat atmosphere for fun. Wait staff was friendly and food was very good. Worth the trip. P.S Jacks is a bourbon lover’s paradise.
