Fabulous Dinner!
My husband and I went to James last night for dinner. The food was fabulous, our server Meghan was wonderful. We truly could not have asked for a better dinner! I am a vegetarian however, I do eat seafood. The Halibut is to die for. This restaurant is worth every penny.

FAVORITE!
This is our all time favorite restaurant in Philly. The food was spectacular and the service was stellar. I understand complaints over the price, but for the quality of food being served - it's definitely worth it.

Where's the food?
Okay. So I finally went here after all the hype on this place and it's chef. The food was okay, pretty tasty and well presented. But the prices for what you are given are insane. $22 for a little risotto with an oyster on it? Ugh. I don't care who the dish is named after. Oh well, live and learn. Nice ambience, though.

Worth it
I went here in March of 2007 with a large group. We had a preplanned menu for the party. The food was fresh, creative, and delicious. I gave a low score for value only becasue of the expense of drinks. We will head back again to check out their summer menu.
