Awesome sushi
Great sushi, but I don't eat in. I only do take out the atmosphere is a little crappy!

Laughable service??
We go Johnny Chang's because it is one of few sushi restaurants in S Philly, and the food is pretty good. The service on the other hand, although timely, is shoddy. The waitress never writes anything down, usually gets something wrong, and always comes back to clarify the order. Right as I was walking out of the restroom and she abruptly asked what I wanted to drink, took my edamame before i was done eating it, gave us wrong soup, forgets or assumes I don't want chopsticks etc...

Unpleasant experience
We came here to celebrate a graduation because the person wanted Chinese and Sushi. This Sushi was warm and the rice was hard. The wait staff pretended they could not speak English when we asked for the Sushi to returned to the kitchen and another order placed.

Will Not Make Small-Size Portions
Johnny Chang's food is nothing to rave about. And it is pricy. Chinese food deliveries usually arrive cool, not hot. Japanese deliveries (Sushi or Sashimi) often arrive warm, not cold. Telephone persons do not speak much English. They refuse to make menu orders advertised as large, in small quantities. They are not very accomodating.

Excellent!!! as far as delivery sushi goes johnny chang's is fantastic. A bit pricey but that's to be expected with quality sushi. Try them, you will not be dissapointed!!

top of the line food
The food here is very good. I go there whenever I can. The staff is SUPER friendly. Try the food and you can't go wrong.

Best Chinese food in South Philly!
this is the best chinese restaurant and sushi place in south phily! the restaurant's decoration is beautiful, clean & delicious food. fast service and nice workers.
