If you are hungry for Mexican this place will hit the spot. Unlike another poster. I had a dish I was not happy with and they gladly took it away and quickly brought something that was much better.

I have been at Johnny Manana's about 7 times since I moved here from L.A. in December 2007. It is a wonderful restaurant. The food is very authentic and the decor is Fascinating. I am looking forward to Saturday at Manana's!

this place has atmosphere going for it. there are not many mexican options in the area where you can get a margarita. food is poor for what you pay for. there is a nice selection of drinks - but they are mostly mix and little liquor.

I have been here many times and have always love it! It was and still is my favorite Mexican Restuarant. However I just had a horrible experience. I ordered the chilli rellenos for $15.99!! This is a pepper stuffed with cheese and then breaded and deep fried. I was not sure about it and asked my waitress, she said she could not eat cheese, but said I would like it. So that is what I got. When it came, I was really taken back... I was not appealing visually. Sensing my hesitation, she assured me. So I tried it. I am very open minded with food. But the breading was soggy and spongy. Would you like sponge cake wrapped around a pepper with cheese?? I really cannot believe that this item is on the menu. And $16 bucks! So the waitress came back and asked how it was..... I said I did not like it and that I was sorry. She said that was ok, and walked away. She never took the plate, that I only took one bit off of it and she still charged me for it! Our waitress was very sweet, but I am very disappointed that she did not take the plate away and off the check. Futhermore I am very disappointed that this item was on the menu. Like I said I love this place, normally I have great service and great food. however not tonight---- and don't order chilli rellenos.
