food good service slow
We took our son here for a midday lunch break from school. It took our waiter 20 minutes to take our drink order (so we ordered lunch from the abbreviated menu). She offered no apology. Food is good but not worth the wait. There are plenty of other great restaurants in our city of brotherly love with excellent service.

surprised
The restaurant looks a littlle run-down, the service is slow, the bathrooms are ok at best, the drinks are decent. However the food is ridiculously good. I had the breakfast burrito, it was the best food I've had in a very long time. I kid you not. So good. I will come back to get that to go.

Fast food is wayy better
It took forever for service! 20 minutes for the waiter to come to our table to take our drink order! The food tasted like mcdonalds and the price was not worth it one bit. Not satisfied at. Left there annoyed :( won't ever ever go there again, guaranteed!!

Love Jones
I've only been to Jones twice once as a kid and once as an adult. Ive always gotten the market salad and when I say plentiful helpings of toppings that's the truth. I'm sure you're tired of getting salads with like two tomatoes, well Jones won't disappoint. My boyfriend felt guilty because the devilled eggs were better than his Mom's which he'd swear on his grave are the best he'd ever have in life.

Fun and Tasty
We've been here twice (it's a good choice if you're in town to see the museums) and really enjoyed both times. I'm surprised at the reviews that stated that it's not kid-friendly because my eight-year-old is constantly asking to go back. C'mon, one of their sides is tater tots for goodness sake! The food here is comforting and delicious. Wish it was closer to my house.

some good, some so so
While I find most entrees are quite generous the roasted chicken, crab cakes and filet mignon are quite stingy. The soups they claim are home made, so I was told, but all are just too salty to enjoy. Their salads are very very good and generous. I find the atmosphere much too noisy. I've been very very pleased with the service of the waiters and waitresses. All in all for the most part good food, highly priced and if you have high blood pressure, steer clear of all soups there.

I'm Jonesing for more...
I am surprised at some of the negative reviews on Jones. We have eaten here often and are never disappointed. The menu is varied, the specials are fantastic and the service is always tops. On a recent visit we has the fired green tomatoes special which was awesome. Lots of variety and plenty to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. The only complaint I have is the beer could be colder. I recently had a Yards Brawler which was almost warm. I suspect that the popularity of the place may cause the beer coolers to empty rapidly.
